We hold weekly swim, bike and run training sessions
Our weekly coached training sessions are an excellent opportunity to see what Castle Tri is all about, which is why we offer a free coached run and swim session before you think about joining the club. Our fully qualified coaches deliver detailed sessions, all deigned to improve your performance throughout the triathlon season. Coached Swim Sessions
Wednesday 7pm-7.45pm and 7:45pm – 8:45pm, Prudhoe Waterworld.
Price £4 members, £6 non-members. First session free but please email us in advance so we can advise you of the most suitable session to attend.
Our experienced swim coaches will provide you with a structured swim training session based on your ability and goals. These sessions use the front crawl stroke and we have lanes to suit all abilities from those who can swim 200m front crawl up to competitive swimmers. All you need are your swimming costume and goggles!
If you are a beginner swimmer or are not comfortable with front crawl please drop us a line and we can offer advice.
Join us for a club ride on Sunday mornings in the beautiful Tyne valley and surrounding areas.
Distance and speed are based on whoever joins us, with a multitude of easier or more challenging route options available.

Coached Run Sessions
Monday 7:30pm-8:30pm, Low Prudhoe Industrial Estate.
Price is free for members, £1 for non-members but your first session is free.
All running abilities welcome: the sessions aren’t just about how far or how fast you can go, like the swim sessions they will be designed around specific drills so that runners with a range of abilities can take part and work as a group on technique and pace. Whatever your pace, these sessions will make you faster come race season!
